Why Are My Cores Turning Black?Updated a year ago
Noticing that your Cores are starting to turn black after use?
This can happen for a couple reasons:
- The Core was not pushed all the way inside the Core Cradle. Because of this, the Core is sticking out and making contact with the barrel. Ensure that when you insert your Core into the Core Cradle, the Core is pushed snugly into the slot in the Core Cradle. You will see a ridge that when inserted correctly, holds the Core nice and tight. It should not be loose or sticking out and rubbing on the inerior of the barrel.
- The inside of the Füm is not getting cleaned on a regular basis. Due to this, the Core is doing the cleaning and the dust and particles from the environment are sticking to the Core.
